I set Reeve down behind a building. I hyperventilated and scanned the area for something to stop the blood from oozing out. Upon finding a towel I grabbed it with my teeth and set it down. Shades of gray (parody of gray octave) yep, brony stuff XD it's just so good

Not black or white, just a shade of gray
lack of color, dull and drab

No emotions, just a mask
have no virtues
no one asks
how it feels to be so alone
when surrounded by those unshone

smiles pass by, but they're all the same
fake and plastered upon their face

If I'm in fact, such a talent
Then why am I..utterly useless?
I'm nothing special
just a shade of gray
belonging no where
afraid to say
the way I feel
to minty pastures
who drew all day
so I could be less alone

I share that feeling with you
that it's hard
to remove the mask, that we wear so often
to show the world
who we really are
but I don't belong here, but i don't belong here

No wings to fly
magic or color
just routine
day and night

you watched carefully
as I poured my heart out
through this canvas
about the people
I wish I'd known

but pain and questions
dominatey own attempts to your
find an escape

but still you sat there
watching me
